Weigh in day, I lost 5 pounds this week for a total of 14 so far. My Energy is still huge, and two people commented on my skin, energy and mood today. I haven't gotten more that 4 hours of sleep each night, over the past 2 days, I worked 10 hour shifts, and still had enough energy to get through the day. Last night I walked two miles and danced all night at a concert. I didn't get home until about 2am!

End of week two
Ok, so this is the end of week two and I weighed in. I was pretty disappointed, I only lost 2 pounds this week, but I guess it’s better than nothing. I think I’m doing pretty well sticking to the program. I had one day this week where I had non stop cravings for sweets and carbs. I ate a ton of fruit to get through the day, that seemed to work ok. Then I broke down and had a small handful of pita chips, that were not whole wheat. Yikes! I felt pretty guilty after.
Energy Energy Energy
Everything is still going great! Today I only had one salad instead of two, however I ate twice the servings of Green veggies. I had extra Kale and Asparagus. I have been so busy, and will be for the next week, I got ahead tonight and cooked a little extra. I made a veggie chili, and my salad for tomorrow. The Chili came out great; I used tomatoes, red peppers, zucchini, black beans, and tofu.
Weigh in Day
Today I weighed myself. I plan on weighing myself every Sunday. I figure once a week is good enough so that I don't go crazy. Well I lost 7 pounds after only one week! I can't believe it considering I sat on my ass all week listening to lectures.
First Day Back to Work
So today was my first day back at work. One guy didn't know I had been gone because he only works two days a week and told me I seemed relaxed and had a sparkle in my eye. I had tons of energy all day, but didn't get a whole lot done because I couldn't stop telling everyone about how much I had learned and what a great experience it was. However, I am going to have to be careful that I don't start to get preachy. I'm so proud of myself. My department is right next to the Specialty department and I did not have one sample of cheese!
Life on cloud nine is pretty amazing!
It's hard to convey to friends, family and fellow team members how transforming for me this week has been. My body loved the food, loved the food, really loved the food, did I say, my body loved the food? The session with Sean Stephenson cracked me wide open, (no more excuses and rationalizations) the movie Tues. night about Joe Cook and Phil expanded my time worn notions of what is possible and ignited a sense of hope I haven't felt since I was a teenager hearing Dr. Martin L.
