Nutritarian Lifestyle

Making Steady Progress

Hi all- I've been making steady progress since my amazing expereince at the immerssion program. My BMI has drop 2 points and I've lost 30 lb since Feb. I have found such freedom in changing my lifestyle, and feel like a more grounded and flexible being.
I wish you all the best on this path toward real health.

Transition

Loving the program. Daily accountability is helpful as well. One of THE primary reasons for joining this group is a long standing battle with the non food group of sugar.
Happy to report that with week one, no sugar cravings what so ever.  So very full from the veggies, beans and fruits....  The body is so much happier when it receives the energy it requires in a form it can process.
Time to get creative with the recipes. Another personal challenge as this girl can become a creature of habit.

My Progress

This is week 1 for me. My first week was an adjustment, but I feel awesome about the changes. I cleaned out my cabinets and fridge. I craved sweets and I ate sweets, then I regretted sweets. I got the shakes, the fatigue and the heaviness. I realized how much I don't like them. "Where's the fruit?" I craved sushi as well, overate sushi, now plan on making my own Veggie Style! or plan to order with better intentions next time. Being that full was so uncomfortable. And my fiance started her detoxing. "I am there for you, Babe!"

On the 28 day plan - blog

Ok here is is Day 4.  Fallen off the wagon at least once a day .  Chocolate being the culprit.  the mid afternoon drowzies always get me!  Went to the store and picked up some sugar free gum to help give my mouth something to do.  I think the walk to store was probably more beneficial.  Going to the store tonight to pick up my veggie feast.

Okay, I'm only on Day 11, and I have to say that I had forgotten just how good regular exercise feels.  It is something I gave up quite a long time ago.  Today was a bump up to 25 minute walk and the core & flexibility, and I felt SO good afterwards!  I really didn't think I could do it when I saw the instructions for today's workout, but I DID IT and feel very proud of myself.
