2 tablespoons dried currants (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon raw sunflower seeds
2 bananas, sliced

Ingredients:
Fresh fruits, chopped
Raisins or other dried fruits, chopped
Soy milk, orange juice or pomegranate juice, to cover for soaking
1 cup (80 g) old fashioned rolled oats

Cinnamon Fruit Oatmeal

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup (250 mL) water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup (40 g) old-fashioned rolled oats
1/2 cup (74 g) blueberries
2 apples, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
1/4 cup (41 g) raisins (optional)

Blueberry Nut Oatmeal

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups (438 mL) water
1 cup (80 g) old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup (110 g) grated apple
2 tablespoons currants (optional)
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
1 cup (148 g) fresh or frozen blueberries
6 pecan halves, chopped

Banana Cashew Lettuce Wrap

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons raw cashew butter
12 romaine lettuce leaves
2 bananas, thinly sliced

Instructions: Spread cashew butter on lettuce leaf (1 teaspoon per leaf). Lay banana slices on cashew butter and wrap lettuce around.
 

 

Mixed Vegetable Juice

Serves: 3
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
6 kale leaves
8 carrots, peeled
2 stalks bok choy
2 apples
2 medium beets, peeled
1 cup (34 g) watercress with stems

Instructions: Run all ingredients through a juicer.
 

Lisa's Favorite Green Smoothie

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 apple*, cut into fourths
1 banana
1/2 avocado
4 pitted dates (or 3 Dr. Fuhrman’s Original Date Nut Pop’ems)
5 ounces (141 g) organic baby spinach

Instructions: Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth and creamy.

*No need to peel apple if organic.

High Cruciferous Juice

Serves: 4
Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
6 medium carrots
6 cauliflower florets
2 apples, cut in fourths
1 bunch kale
1/2 bunch watercress
1/2 head broccoli with stems

Instructions: Run all ingredients through a juicer.

Eat Your Greens Fruit Smoothie

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 3 minutes

Ingredients:
5 ounces (141 g) organic baby spinach
1 medium banana
1 cup (148 g) frozen or fresh blueberries
1/2 cup (125 mL) soy milk
1/2 cup (125 mL) pomegranate juice or other unsweetened fruit juice
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Instructions: Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender until smooth and creamy.
