Creamy Greeny

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
4 ounces (113 g) organic baby spinach
4 cups (188 g) torn romaine lettuce
1/4 cup (25 g) pecan halves
1/3 cup (83 mL) soy milk
4 medjool dates, pitted (or 7 regular pitted dates)

Instructions: Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender until smooth and creamy.
 

Creamy Fruit and Berry Smoothie

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 6 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup (250 mL) pomegranate juice
1/2 cup (125 mL) soy or almond milk
1/2 cup (72 g) frozen strawberries
1/2 cup (74 g) frozen blueberries
1/2 cup (125 g) frozen peaches
1 banana
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Instructions: Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender.

Chocolate Smoothie

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
5 ounces (141 g) organic baby spinach
2 cups (296 g) frozen blueberries
1/2 cup (125 mL) soy milk
1 medium banana
2 medjool dates or 4 deglet noor dates
2 tablespoons Dr. Fuhrman’s Cocoa Powder or other natural cocoa powder
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Blueberry Orange Smoothie

Serves: 2
Preparation Time:
5 minutes

Ingredients:
3 dates, pitted
2 oranges, peeled
1 banana
1 cup (148 g) frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

Instructions: Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender until
smooth and creamy.

Raspberry Dressing

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups (154 g) frozen raspberries
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
1/2 clove garlic, cut in fourths
1/2 apple*, cut in fourths
1/2 cup (100 g) date sugar
1 tablespoon water
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, low sodium
1/2 teaspoon Dr. Fuhrman's Riesling Raisin Vinegar

Instructions: Combine all dressing ingredients in a Vita-Mix or other powerful blender.

*no need to peel if organic

Ginger Pear Dressing

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
2 pears, peeled and quartered
1 teaspoon Dr. Fuhrman's D'Anjou Pear Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 dried fig, stem removed

Instructions:

Blend dressing ingredients in a Vita-Mix or other powerful blender.

Sesame Chive Dressing

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
1/3 cup (48 g) unhullled sesame seeds, lightly toasted (reserve 1 tablespoon)
1 cup (250 mL) unsweetened soy milk
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/2 tablespoon raw cashew butter
1/2 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
4 pitted dates, or more to taste
1/4 cup (12 g) finely chopped fresh chives

Basil Apple Dressing

Serves: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
1/2 cup (46 g) sliced almonds
1/2 cup (60 g) pine nuts
2 apples, chopped (no need to peel if organic)
5 packed cups (200 g) fresh basil leaves
4 cups (240 g) fresh parsley (do not pack)
4 medjool dates or 8 deglet noor dates, pitted
